Education and Training
- 1989: Siena (Italy), scholarship from the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs
- 1989/1990: Semester abroad studying Catalan philology at the University of Barcelona (Spain)
- 1995: Six-month stay in Barcelona, research on Catalan libretti
- 1996: Master’s degree in romance philology from the Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main
- 2003–2005: Completed additional studies and teacher training in German as a foreign language at the University of Mainz
Teaching Activities
- Since 2003, freelance German as a foreign language teacher for various language schools and companies including the ECB, GIZ, ZS-Associates and the Bank of Japan
- 2004: Teaching assignment in the German Department at the University of Latvia
- Professional experience in teaching all language levels and in exam preparation
- Since 2007: Licensed TELC examiner and rater
